IT Support

Business Software & Systems provides a comprehensive I.T support service; from telephone support, to remote login support, to on-site callouts. We can provide a resolution to your technical problems in the most efficient way necessary.

Support falls under either of two categories: software support & hardware support.

Software support deals with the operation of your applications and operating system e.g. Interprise Suite, Microsoft Office and Windows XP, Vista & 7 etc. Support here can typically be delivered over the telephone or via remote access. Callouts are generally only required where there is no broadband service, a complex installation is required, or the operating system will not start correctly.

Hardware support deals with the physical components of your systems and peripheral devices e.g. hard drive, memory, motherboard, printers, scanners, backup devices etc. Hardware support is delivered more effectively on-site (where the technician can diagnose component problems, install new equipment etc.), however, a lot of minor issues can still be resolved over the telephone or via remote access.

 

Telephone Support
Quite often, even the most basic I.T. problems can prevent you from accomplishing your intended daily business tasks. Much time can be lost trying to fix these simple problems or figuring out how to perform certain tasks. We can often provide a simple resolution to these issues over the phone, allowing you to get back to the task at hand and enjoy a more productive day.

Remote Log-in
For more complicated I.T. problems, where a broadband service is available, our engineers can log in securely to your computer, assume control, and resolve many issues without the expense of a callout. Common issues such as accounting software procedures, hardware configuration, virus & malware removal, software installation and updates can all be typically be completed via remote support.

On-site Callouts
For more severe problems our engineers are on the road Monday to Friday, with replacement parts and all the common tools to restore your I.T. hardware to a working state. Common problems which prevent your system from operating are typically due to component failures, severe virus/malware infections and damaged operating systems; all of which can prevent your PC from loading into a usable state. Our engineers are experienced in resolving all of these common problems and will endeavour to do all they can to restore your system.
